A Sober Companion provides real-time, side-by-side practical support in your daily life, where you are staying, or during travel. While a therapist provides clinical treatment in scheduled sessions and a sponsor offers voluntary 12-step guidance, a companion is present 24/7 to help you navigate triggers, maintain daily structure, handle practical logistics, and bridge the gap between treatment goals and real-world living.
Please note: Sober companion services are non-clinical and non-medical. I work collaboratively alongside your existing doctors, therapists, and care team.

Because recovery transitions often require timely action, deployment can typically be arranged within 24 to 48 hours, depending on location and travel requirements. Emergency or immediate travel escort services—such as accompanying someone directly from home to a treatment facility—can often be accommodated on an urgent basis following an initial intake consultation.

Discretion is absolute. All services are governed by strict confidentiality agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon request. Arrivals and travel are completely discreet—there are no branded vehicles, attire, or public indicators of the service being provided. Your personal history, recovery journey, and identity remain entirely private.

Family updates are tailored entirely to the client’s preferences and consent. With explicit permission, I can provide regular, reassuring updates to designated family members regarding well-being, schedule adherence, and general progress. I also assist in establishing healthy communication boundaries to help reduce family stress and conflict during critical recovery windows.

Safety is always the primary focus. If a client requires medical detoxification or clinical stabilization before or during an engagement, I assist in coordinating immediate, safe transportation to an accredited medical facility or treatment center. Companionship services can resume once medical clearing is complete.
